Did you find yourself thinkin', self, what in tarnation is a "lone arranger?"
Well I'm glad that you asked!
A "lone arranger" is an archivist without a partner or even a horse to work alongside to keep order in an archive. They work solo among the stacks and boxes of materials ensuring they are safe. Often, lone arrangers wear multiple hats and badges as they help others locate and research different materials.
This specific lone arranger is a bit green and still learning the archival ropes. I'm finding myself sending out calls for resources and guidance from more senior lone arrangers across this vast country. For those that answer my call I am deeply thankful and hope that this little website may help to provide some guidance to those lone arrangers who come after me.
